"Viduthalai" is a Tamil newspaper founded by the social reformer Thanthai Periyar, in 1935. Aimed at promoting rationalism, social justice, and gender equality, it played a crucial role in advocating for the rights of marginalized communities in Tamil Nadu. Veeramani, the current editor of "Viduthalai," the newspaper continues to uphold the values of Periyar's vision for social justice and equality.
