"Viduthalai" is a Tamil newspaper founded by the social reformer Thanthai Periyar, in 1935. Aimed at promoting rationalism, social justice, and gender equality, it played a crucial role in advocating for the rights of marginalized communities in Tamil Nadu. The newspaper remains significant in the legacy of Periyar’s movement for a more equitable society. Under the able leadership of K. Veeramani, the current editor of "Viduthalai," the newspaper continues to uphold the values of Periyar's vision for social justice and equality.
